Graduating in 1995 form Cork's Institute of Technology Ursula began her career in the highly acclaimed Cork restaurants of Jacques and Isaacs. Eager to move further afield Ursula began work at 190 Queensgate Restaurant in London under Anthony Whorall Thomson. This was followed by a move to Anthony's newest venture - Drones of Pont Street. However, when a head Chef position on a privately owned motor yacht cruising between the Med and the Caribbean came up, Ursula said goodbye to London. Australia was the next stop where Ursula managed SWOBES. In 2001, returning to London, Ursula was appointed Head of Catering for Associated Newspapers Ltd. catering for 2500 employees. Ursula's career then took a turn in to the business world where she was appointed Assistant Buildings Manager where she helped bring about the online travel company, Opodo.com. Here she oversaw the Telecoms, IT and Catering departments.
Following her travels, Ursula has finally found solace in owning her own establishment - CUCINA. Here, Ursula provides an exceptionally high standard of day-time eating incorporating the finest local and European ingredients in an original and hearty way - her motto being : 'pay attention to what you pay attention to.....'
